Every patient receives a personalized plan. We begin with the least invasive option that fits your condition and consider procedures only when they are the right next step for you.
Conservative Treatment
Non-surgical care that relieves pain, supports healing and protects your feet day to day.
- Custom orthotics and footwear guidance
- Padding, strapping and taping
- Stretching and activity-modification plans
- Medication and anti-inflammatory options
- Routine nail, callus and skin care
- Wound care and offloading
Surgical Procedures
When conservative care is not enough, procedures can correct the underlying problem.
- Bunion correction
- Hammertoe correction
- Ingrown toenail procedures
- Soft-tissue and tendon procedures
- Fracture care
- Plantar fascia procedures
Diabetic Foot Care
Diabetes can quietly affect sensation and circulation in the feet, which means small problems are easier to miss and slower to heal. Regular evaluations and early attention to changes are the most effective protection.
Our team provides comprehensive diabetic foot exams, nail and skin care, footwear guidance and a clear plan for what to watch for between visits, so you and your family know exactly when to call.
Daily foot checks
Look at the tops, soles and between the toes every day for cuts, blisters, redness or swelling. A mirror or a family member can help.
Regular comprehensive exams
A podiatrist checks sensation, circulation, skin and nails, and looks for pressure points before they become problems.
Footwear, socks and nail care
Well-fitted shoes, clean dry socks and properly trimmed nails prevent many of the most common diabetic foot injuries.
Early attention to changes
A sore that is slow to heal, new numbness, or a change in skin color or temperature deserves a prompt visit, not a wait-and-see.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does insurance cover podiatry visits?
Coverage depends on your specific plan and the reason for your visit. Many plans cover medically necessary foot and ankle care, while routine services may be handled differently. Please have your insurance card ready when you call, and our team will help you check your benefits before your visit.
Do you offer visits at home or in care facilities?
SoleCare Podiatry sees patients at our Orlando and DeLand clinics and also provides care at assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. We do not offer home visits. Facility visits depend on the facility and our schedule, so please call to ask whether we serve yours.
How often should patients with diabetes see a podiatrist?
Most guidelines recommend at least one comprehensive foot exam every year for people with diabetes, and more frequent visits if you have reduced sensation, circulation concerns or a history of foot ulcers. Your podiatrist will recommend a schedule that fits your health.
Do I need a referral?
It depends on your insurance plan. Some plans, such as certain HMOs, require a referral from your primary care provider before seeing a specialist, while many others do not. Check with your plan, or call us and we will help you find out.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications and allergies, any recent imaging or records related to your feet, and the shoes you wear most often. If you use orthotics or braces, bring those too.
Ready to take the next step toward healthier feet?
Request a visit at our Orlando or DeLand clinic, or ask about care at your assisted living or skilled nursing facility. Our team will call to confirm a time that works for you.
